How: Farragut North Metro station on the Red line. Then hop on the DC Circulator toward Georgetown. Stop at K & Jefferson
Comments: Call first, as this is not an established salsa place. The floors are tile, which make it a bit hard to dance. The music is so-so. But the restaurant is on the waterfront. Quite a romantic settling.

7:30 – 8:30 pm Beginner II Salsa ($60)

This course will increase your familiarity with Salsa. Building on what students learned in Beginner I, it will introduce students to leading/following techniques and varied turn patterns. Also introduced to the Salsa cross body and turn patterns with cross body variations. No partner required. Minimum age 17.

How: Dupont Circle or Farragut North stop on the metro redline
Comments: laid back spot with good music provided by DJ Silenzio. He likes Brazillian beats so always trows in some samba. He also spins Thursdays at LeftBank, but the music there is much more reggaton and merengue.

Comments: DJ Bruno spins the best classic salsa in town. The space is fairly small, but the floors are wood and the dancers are wonderful.
